RAFAL OLBINSKI immigrated to the United States in 1981, where he soon established himself as a prominent painter, illustrator and designer.
For his artistic achievements, he has received more than 150 awards including Gold and Silver Medals from the Art Directors Club of New York, Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators in New York and Los Angeles. MORE

The Concert, co-sponsored by the Kosciuszko Foundation, is part of the events' series celebrating the bicentennial of passing of Gen. Tadeusz Kosciuszko. It will feature works by most prominent Polish composers including the New York premiere of Polonaise Metamorphoses on the theme by Tadeusz Kosciuszko for violin, viola and string orchestra.

The program includes works by Barber, Debussy, Tchaikovsky as well as contemporary pianists and composers: Alicia Jonas and Alexander Peskanov. A special guest performance presented by Derek Lee Ragin, countertenor. Wine reception will follow the concert.

Meet Swiety Mikolaj/ Santa Claus - events for kids by PATA
preview-en-usjpgSwiety Mikolaj (Santa Claus) will visit the Kosciuszko Foundation on Saturday, December 9 at 3:00 p.m. All children and their parents are invited. The event will feature singing traditional Christmas Carols, making Christmas ornaments with the Polish Scouting Folk Craft Instructors and fun raffle.
